Thanks to all who were able to make it down for our studio opening celebration this week!
For those who missed it, the lowdown is that From the Treehouse now has its own studio space for printing, framing and photo mounting as well as workshops… aaand (wait for it)… a studio lighting setup! I’m very excited to be adding studio work to my services. A simple backdrop, a basketful of props and a selection of Rupert’s finest models helped get things started.
Please drop by if you’re in the neighbourhood. Call beforehand (250-622-2304) and I’d be happy to meet you there and give you a tour of the creative process behind the printing process. I don’t just print my own work – I print for other photographers as well as painters and other 2-D mediums, using a range of photo papers, fibre based Fine Art papers, and even canvas.
The studio space is shared with painter Suzo Hickey. Her wonderful work can be seen down at the Icehouse Gallery.
We are in the Museum Building in Prince Rupert ( 100 1st Avenue, room 150 – turn left on the main floor after the entrance doors on the left wing of the building).
